Love is in the air - What we can learn from the Obamas

We look at how the Obamas are a role-model of a relationship to not just Americans but to the world.

America’s newly elected president is certainly the dinner conversation piece these days. But besides all the formal observations, in the last few weeks leading up to the election something, (besides Michelle’s dress sense), has caught my eye – the relationship Obama and Michelle share.

Regardless if I’m a Democrat or a Republican supporter, the relationship that the Obamas share is commendable. I’ve always stood by the idea that how a person treats his/her partner reflects his/her true character.

What we’ve seen in these last few weeks of the Obamas is, best friends, who respect and harbour a great amount of love for each other. This is a role-model of a relationship to not just Americans but to the world.

How did they and continue to do it? With the Obamas in the spotlight now, I’m sure we’re going to get some notes soon!
