Amy Mitchell (Mila Kunis) has a seemingly perfect life – a great marriage, over-achieving kids, beautiful home and a career. However she’s over-worked, and exhausted to the point that she’s about to snap. Frustrated, she joins forces with two other overstressed moms (Kristen Bell, Kathryn Hahn) on a quest to liberate themselves from conventional responsibilities – going on a wild binge of long-overdue freedom, fun and self-indulgence. As the gals go wild with their newfound freedom, they set themselves up for the ultimate showdown with queen bee Gwendolyn and her clique of seemingly perfect moms.
This new comedy from the writers of “The Hangover” explores how a group of overworked moms, at the verge of their breaking point, decides to let loose and rebel against the society’s notions of “perfect moms”. Behind the hilarious antics of the bad moms, the movie is a comforting reminder to our busy working moms that we don’t really have to conform to society’s expectations of what a perfect mom should do or not do. As long as you love your kids and you’re doing your best for them, you are a great mom!
