A 19-Year-Old Teen Mum Is Happy To Be A Mum Of 4 Kids. But Netizens Think Otherwise!

Should you live your life going by the norm or set your own rules? This teen mum from Australia believes in the latter.

We are a culmination of choices we’ve made through the course of our lives. Irrespective of what those choices are, there will always be people who would not agree with you in one way or another.

But that should not demoralise you from living the life you want, the way you want to. That’s something we are learning from this 19-year-old teen mum from Australia.

Going by the handle @mamaclaireOO on TikTok, the teen mum recently shared about her “amazing” life as the mum of four children. It’s a life that includes her son, two stepchildren and another baby that’s due for arrival next year. Her husband is older than her by nine years.

While the Internet has its own opinions about her life decisions, Claire is not the one to be deterred by “mean” comments.

“I Love My Life,” Says 19yo Teen Mum Claire

In her now-viral TikTok video, the teen mum from Australia shares, “I love my life. Hi! I’m Claire!”

“I had my son Luke when I was 18, his dad dipped.”

“I met my husband when Luke was 3-4 months old and we got married shortly after. We have an age gap so that’s why I get so much hate.

The teen mum is presently five months pregnant with a baby girl. Her husband already has a boy and a girl from his previous relationship.

Explaining further in the video, Claire says, “I’m 19, gonna be 20 in April and baby girl will also be here in April.”

“So yeah, I’m 19 with four kids and a husband and I love my life. And the haters pay my bills,” she concludes the video.

The video has been viewed 153,000 times on TikTok since it first went up and received varied responses from different users.

Going Against The Norm

Most users were perplexed with Claire’s decision to be a mum at such a young age. While girls would choose to finish their education and wait until they’ve experienced other things to start a family, Claire chose to raise a family instead.

This is something that’s bothering a lot of users on the Internet who’ve trolled the young mum for her decision.

Responding to Claire on TikTok, one user wrote, “It’s OK, in 10 years she gonna look around and realize she wasted time but that’s when the glow-up gonna happen.”

Another added, “All these young guys in the comments are big mad that women their age don’t want them lmao.”

Nevertheless, there were quite a few users who supported the mum as well.

“I would never disrespect a young mother because I’m a young mother myself,” wrote one user.

Relating to Claire’s story, one user shared that her husband is 15 years older than her and they’re still happy to this day. She wrote, “We met at 18 and 33. Here we are eight years later married with three kids.”

“I Manifested My Success”

Claire says she met her now-husband after graduating high school at the age of 18 years, the mum clarified to those raising concerns about consent.

Claire also posted another video since the first one went viral. The video with over 3.6 million views has the mum saying, “19, settled down with a paid-off car, homeowner, full family,” she said.

“I manifested my success and here I am.”

Every individual has the choice to live their life the way they want. That’s something Claire chose to exercise as well.

What do you think about Claire’s decision? Is this life or is there more to it? Do drop in your thoughts on the matter.
