Follow the story of Fatimah who meets a mysterious and magical lion one rainy afternoon and is transported into another world.
It takes her on a thrilling adventure where she meets a man who is frantically trying to find his one missing sock. Fatimah helps him in his search and while doing so, starts dancing with her pair of different socks.
In this newly discovered world of fun, Fatimah learns about friendship, laughter and the power of… magical socks!
She also helps the man realise that despite her two different socks, it is “okay to be different” and that one can always be happy being themselves even though they are different.
Let loose – dance, laugh, sing and work your imagination with Fatimah in this colourful theatrical delight especially created for children aged 2 to 4 under the PLAYtime! Series.
The story of Fatimah is adapted from the children’s book Fatimah and her Magic Socks, written by Zizi Azah Bte Abdul Majid and illustrated by Izmir Ickbal.
Sensory-friendly performances with a more relaxed environment are also available for children on the autism spectrum or those with sensory sensitivities, so everyone has the opportunity to enjoy the magic of theatre.
