DEALING WITH FEELINGS(4 – 6 years old )
The understanding of feelings is central to Emotional Intelligence.
Children who can feel comfortable and confident about their own feelings and know how to handle them will eventually become confident and resilient learners.
This workshop aims to facilitate the development of emotional literacy and awareness among preschool children.
Objectives:
- To become aware & label own feelings
- To understand feelings: -Angry, Happy, Frustrated, Proud, Afraid, Sad
- To learn how to deal with uncomfortable feelings
- To learn to perspective take and show empathy
Duration : 3 consecutive days; 3 hours per day
Dates : 1 June – 3 June (2:00 pm – 5:00 pm) 6 June – 8 June (9:00 am – 12:00 pm) 15 June – 17 June (2:00 pm – 5:00 pm) 20 June – 22 June (9:00 am – 12:00 pm)

RESOLVING CONFLICT(7-9 years old )
As children enter school and begin to interact with a larger circle of peers, differences in individual experiences and culture can present a broad range of conflict among children in school.
This workshop aims to facilitate the learning of positive social skills specifically in accepting individual differences and having theability to resolve conflict and solve social problems among earlyschool-age children aged 7 -9 years old.
Objectives:
- To understand and respect that we are all different and that people can have different views and feelings
- To learn to recognise and manage uncomfortable emotions.
- To learn and practise problem solving, negotiation and cooperation skills.
Duration : 3 consecutive days; 3 hours per day
Dates : 30 May – 1 June (9:00 am – 12:00 pm) 8 June – 10 June (2:00 pm – 5:00 pm) 13 June – 15 June (9:00 am – 12:00 pm) 22 June – 24 June (2:00 pm – 5:00 pm)
