Nurture Kids School Holiday ProgrammeCome join us at Nurture Kids this coming school holiday! Your child will have fun learning how to manage his emotions and pick up essential social skills. Children going to primary one next year can also get a headstart to be resilient and thrive in the new social environment.

Ready for School!- Transition to Primary School

 

Objectives :

To become aware of feelings towards the upcoming change

To learn how to deal with any anxiety/uncomfortable feelings and develop a positive attitude to change

To learn problem solving skills

To learn friendship skills (say hello, introduction, group entry and positive play skills)

To learn work skills such as listening, concentrating and following instructions

 

Duration : 3 consecutive days; 3 hours per day

 

Dates :

29 Nov to 1 Dec 2011 (2pm to 5pm)

5 Dec to 7 Dec 2011 (9am to 12pm)

Fees : $210 (plus $25 registration fee)

 

Dealing with Feelings (4 – 5 years old)

Objectives :

To become aware & label own feelings

To understand feelings: angry, happy, frustrated, proud, afraid, sad

To learn how to deal with uncomfortable feelings

To learn to perspective take and show empathy

Duration : 3 consecutive days; 3 hours per day
