Show your appreciation to your mom by treating her to a special brunch. Singapore has a range of delicious brunch places for every budget, but we recommend the Grand Sunday Champagne Brunch at Estate as an excellent option. This brunch features comfort food from around the world, 32 types of cheese, champagne, desserts, and much more.

2. Celebrate with a tea dance

Mari La Kita Joget is a special tea dance event that will make Mother’s Day 2023 especially memorable. The event takes place at Paradox Hotel’s Merchant Court Ballroom and features a curated menu of sumptuous high tea delights and upbeat music by Stephen Francis & friends. Mums will also take home a limited edition set of exquisite, award-winning Danish Cherry Wine by Frederiksdal, together with a wine glass worth S$200. The Marmalade Pantry is another great option that offers an elegant afternoon tea set infused with floral notes.

3. Get creative at a workshop

Spend some quality time with your mom or your family by booking a creative workshop. Spin Paint House’s Spin Art is a popular therapeutic activity that involves expressing yourself through art using custom-built tables, designed to spin canvases at high speeds.

Many restaurants in Singapore are catering special feasts for Mother’s Day 2023. Racines at Sofitel Singapore City Centre is hosting an Extravagant Mother’s Day Buffet Brunch on May 14, 2023, from 12:30 pm to 3:30 pm. White Rose Café is offering a Mother’s Day 2023 Appreciation Lunch Buffet on May 13 and 14, 2023, from 12 noon to 3 pm. Another option is to celebrate mom at one of the best buffets that are child-friendly, such as Executive Chef Marcus Tan’s full brunch buffet of Western and local delights at the Grand Ballroom of One Farrer Hotel.

5. Relax at the spa

Take a trip to Aramsa Garden Spa to immerse yourself in a world of tranquility, surrounded by nature and flickering candles for the ultimate healing experience. It’s the perfect getaway for moms and daughters. Pick a spa package, turn your phone off, and plunge yourselves into a comfort haven.

6. Go to a cocktail festival

Singapore’s annual cocktail festival returns for its 9th year from May 5 to 21, 2023. Luckily, a host of festival activities will take place over the weekend of May 12 to 14, 2023. Enjoy a host of pop-ups, global cocktails, and themed drinks from 47 participating bars across the city. It’s the perfect activity to do together over Mother’s Day weekend.

Enjoy an inexpensive Mother’s Day picnic at the likes of Marina Barrage or East Coast Park. Kids can fly kites at Marina Barrage while mom unwinds in the grass, or else cook up a BBQ on the seaside of East Coast Park. It makes an unforgettable Sunday with epic sunset views too. And hey, even the dog can attend.

8. Experience Immersive Fun

If you’re looking for an exciting indoor activity that the whole family can enjoy, Singapore has a wide range of immersive experiences available. Whether you want to explore with dinosaurs or step into a Van Gogh painting, there’s something for everyone.

Make this Mother’s Day extra special by creating a signature perfume. Oo La Lab provides a workshop led by Perfume Mixologists, where you can add personal character and selected aromas to design your unique fragrance. Alternatively, bring your mom along to let her imagination run wild and create her scent.

10. Explore the Outdoors

Take a walk through a rooftop garden, visit the Tropical Montane Orchidetum, which is perfect for Instagram-worthy photos, or take the family on a hiking trip. Best of all, these activities are free and provide an enjoyable way to celebrate Mother’s Day.

With these ideas, your Mother’s Day celebrations in Singapore are sure to be a success!
