7 amazing things to do at the new LEGO Certified Store
1. Create a LEGO character that is as unique as you are!
The Build A Minifigure tower is our favourite feature at the new Lego Certified store – and there are only three of them in Singapore.
Creating these characters is a lot of fun and great value-for-money at just $5.50 per figure or S$14.90 for 3. Dig through the buckets of legs, arms, torsos, heads, and other accessories to build your very own unique LEGO minifigures.
Mums, did you know that encouraging your little to one play with LEGO helps develop their fine-motor skills? Pulling apart those Minifigures helps make their little fingers stronger!
2. Create the LEGO set of your dreams
Another awesome in-store feature that is unique to the LEGO Certified Stores is the Pick-A-Brick wall.
Just grab one of the containers and tell your little ones to start choosing the bricks they want. It’s one price per container regardless of how many bricks you can fit inside, as long as the lid closes!
Mums, this is a great game for developing spatial awareness! Show your kids how to fit a few extra pieces in Tetris-style along the sides of the container, and they’ll be really impressed.
3. See the biggest LEGO set ever!
The Ultimate Collector Series Millennium Falcon was unveiled earlier this year and it is one seriously impressive LEGO set!
Star Wars fans and LEGO fans alike will be in awe of the 7,500 piece Millennium Falcon, LEGO’s largest set to date
4. Visit the LEGO Certified Store to buy hard-to-find sets!
The LEGO Certified Stores has the best collection of LEGO sets compared to other toy stores. Mums, this is the place to go if you’ve you’re looking for that hard to find Ninjago or Frozen set that your little one has very hopefully put on their letter to Santa!
The LEGO Certified Stores are also a must-visit for the not-so-little LEGO fans in your house. Whereas toy stores focus on the sets for younger children, the LCS also has the LEGO Architecture sets featuring internationally recognized skylines such as London, New York and Sydney as well as the LEGO Technic sets which follow the designs of real vehicles.
5. Try out a set before you buy it
Given a huge product range to choose from at the LEGO Certified Stores, you can try sets out before you buy them! Just ask a staff member to help you get started and give the set a whirl before you bring it home.
Mums, be sure to give the LEGO Boost a try. This robotic toy teaches kids building and programming together!
6. Teach your little ones how to manage their pocket money
When we visited the store, the little ones will love the gift centre which carries small sets and other LEGO-related toys that are perfect for them to spend their pocket money on. They definitely get excited by the cute magnets and Ninjago collectible cards!
Mums, teach your little ones about saving their pocket to buy toys that they want. Budgeting is an important skill that will benefit your little ones throughout their whole life!
7. Attend awesome community events for all ages
The LEGO Certified Store isn’t just an awesome shopping destination, but also a hub for exciting events where LEGO fans can build together and compare tips.
