The Wallace Education Centre, formerly a cow shed, is now a hub of learning where visitors can dive into the biogeography and biodiversity of our region. Named after English naturalist Alfred Russel Wallace, the centre showcases a permanent exhibition honouring his contributions to natural science.
Here, you and your family can engage with interactive exhibits, explore biodiversity through 3D models, and even participate in citizen science lab activities. Themed exhibitions are regularly held in the gallery, keeping the learning experience fresh and exciting.

Experience the Wallace Trail
The Wallace Trail, which was constructed in 2009 and extended in 2020, is a 2.2 km nature trail dedicated to Alfred Russel Wallace. It stretches from Hillview MRT station to the Wallace Education Centre. This inviting trail allows visitors to discover the flora and fauna of Dairy Farm Nature Park through Wallace’s eyes.
Furthermore, don’t miss the opportunity to learn about the history of the area through artifacts from the past. Additionally, you can enjoy the unobstructed view of the surrounding secondary forest from the new viewing deck.
