Do avoid these set of names for your future baby

If you want to keep your kids out of jail, avoid these baby names at all cost – Alec, Ernest, Garland, Ivan, Kareem, Luke, Malcom, Preston, Tyrell, and Walter.

A study of 15,000 names given to boys born between 1987 and 1991 found that the names above are the most likely to land a boy in jail!

According to the study, the more unusual, feminine or oddball a name, the more likely the boy is to end up a committing a crime. While they aren’t sure why boys with awkward names may end up in jail, but they think that a lifetime of merciless teasing may prime an oddly-named boy to be an outcast, or to have low self-esteem.

In a similar vein, a 1993 study that showed boys who have strange spellings of common first names (read Patric, Geoffrey) are less likely to be upstanding and successful; a 2001 study showing that boys are judged for their moral character and masculinity by their first names; and a University of Michigan study that stated, “having an unusual first name leads to unfavorable reactions in others, which then leads to unfavorable evaluations of the self.”
