Love it or hate it, the Baby Shark Craze has reached new highs with the recently released singing shark toy. Actually, there are three different sharks available for purchase: Daddy Shark, Mummy Shark and, of course, Baby Shark!
All three sharks sing what some say is ‘the most annoying song of the year’. Since you can’t control how often your children choose to squeeze the Baby Shark toy, would it triple the fun or triple the headache?

Unless you have been living under a rock, you would have heard the “Baby Shark Song”. Lyrics of this viral song are now stuck in the head of many Baby Shark-weary parents.
This song was created in 2015 by YouTube channel Pinkfong, a Korean-based channel for kids. Now, this music video is a global phenomenon with more than two billion views in early December.
Did you participate in the baby shark dance craze? Here, people recreate the easy shark dance moves and film themselves. A video of a mother with a painted blue face and swim floats garnered more than four million views. In a another video, a father shows his moves in shark costume.
To create the baby shark soft toy, PinkFong partnered with WowWee, the toy company behind Fingerlings. Fingerlings, electronic toys, are among the most popular toys last holiday season.
Luckily for parents, the shark toys sell out fast on Amazon. This is an Amazon exclusive toy, so you can’t get it anywhere else. But don’t be totally surprised if an Internet-savvy relative managed to snag one or three for your kids.
Ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho…….
And, because Christmas is around the corner, the baby shark craze recently sparked a festive version of its oh-so-catchy tune. This musical makeover by YouTube Channel, Super Simple Songs, features Santa Shark, reindeer shark and elf sharks getting their presents ready.
The baby shark craze isn’t going away soon, so prepare to hear a lot of “Santa Shark, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho, ho…”. It probably makes a pleasant change from “Baby shark, doo doo doo doo doo doo!”
