Our condolences go to the family of Achik Spin (popular Malaysian singer), who died in a road accident along Kajang-Seremban Highway on Saturday. He was killed when the MPV driven by a friend crashed into a signpost, caught fire and exploded.
Born Abdillah Murad Md Shari, 27, the singer who fronted the group Spin became popular with the song ‘Janji Kita’. He leaves wife H.M. Rose Zaitul Suriani Wati Maarof, daughters Sofia, 3, and Safia, ten-month old.
Achik was buried yesterday at Tuan Haji Said Muslim cemetery, where over 100 people including family members and friends attended to show their last respects. They include singers Hattan, Siti Nordiana (Nana), Tomok and Lan Kristal.
