2017 PSLE results to be released on Friday 24 November

Lots of important information right here for students and parents.

The 2017 PSLE results will be out very soon. According to the Ministry of Education (MOE), the 2017 PSLE results will be released next Friday (November 24).

2017 PSLE results: Important information

When can students collect their results slips?

In a press release today, the MOE says that students can get their results slips starting 11am from their respective primary schools on November 24.

What about option forms for secondary schools?

Once the results slips have been collected, eligible students will receive options forms to select their secondary schools, says a CNA report.

Every sealed option form will contain a unique S1 Personal Identification Number (S1 PIN), which can be used to submit the options online via the Secondary 1 Internet System at www.moe.gov.sg/admissions/secondary-one-posting-exercise.

This will be accessible from 11am on November 24 until 3pm, and on November 30 through the MOE S1 Posting website.

The MOE’s advice is, “Students, in discussion with their parents, are advised to first consider their secondary school choices, decide on these choices and complete the option form before logging on to the S1-IS.”

Can the student submit secondary school option form via their primary school?

The option form can also be physically handed in to the child’s primary school on these dates and at these times:

  • November 24: 11am to 3.00pm
  • November 27-30: 9am to 3pm

When will posting results be released?

According to the MOE, posting results will be released on December 21 2017. They can be accessed via SMS, the S1-IS system and at the student’s primary school.

When should students report to their secondary school?

Students must head to the secondary schools they are posted to on December 22 at 8.30am.

2017 PSLE results: Applying to Crest or Spectra Secondary Schools

If your child is eligible for the Normal (Technical) course and would like to study at Crest Secondary or Spectra Secondary schools, then they must apply directly to them during the following time period:

  • From 11 am November 24, to 12 pm November 28.

These students should still indicate their choices for other secondary schools, says the MOE, in order to ensure options in case they are not selected for admission to Crest or Spectra.

“Students successfully admitted into Crest or Spectra will be informed by the schools via mail and SMS by Dec 14,” explains the MOE.
