Free Breakfast Bundles for PSLE Pupils: Cheers Breakfast Club Returns in 2025

FairPrice Foundation’s Cheers Breakfast Club returns in 2025, offering free nutritious breakfast bundles to fuel PSLE pupils across Singapore.

Primary 6 pupils preparing for the upcoming Primary School Leaving Examination (PSLE) will once again enjoy a nutritious boost, as FairPrice Foundation brings back the popular Cheers Breakfast Club initiative this September.

Free Breakfast Bundles Across Singapore

Over 12,000 free breakfast bundles, each worth more than $20, will be available for redemption at 113 Cheers and FairPrice Xpress outlets islandwide. The giveaway will take place on 3 September (from 2pm) and 4 September (during store hours), on a first-come, first-served basis.

To ensure inclusivity, more than 1,000 bundles have been set aside for Primary 6 beneficiaries from charity partners such as SINDA, Yayasan Mendaki, and the Chinese Development Assistance Council (CDAC).

What’s Inside the Breakfast Bundle?

Each bundle is carefully curated to give students the energy and focus they need during exam season. Items include:

  • Fresh fruits

  • Wholemeal bread

  • Brand’s Essence of Chicken

  • Student favourites like Milo and Koko Krunch cereal

On top of this, each bundle comes with discount coupons for breakfast treats such as yogurt parfaits and sandwiches, along with a free ice cream coupon to lift students’ spirits during the exam period.

How to Redeem a Breakfast Bundle

Redemption is simple:

  • Pupils need to present their student card or PSLE examination slip.

  • Parents may redeem on behalf of their child with the same documents (physical or e-copy).

  • Each student is entitled to one bundle only.

Kick-Off Event at Ang Mo Kio Hub

To launch this year’s campaign, a special event will take place on 3 September, from 2pm to 4pm, at Cheers Ang Mo Kio Hub.

Highlights include:

  • An appearance by Mediacorp 987 DJ Joakim Gomez

  • Exclusive autographed cards for the first 50 students who redeem a bundle

  • Fun quizzes and giveaways designed to encourage and motivate pupils

Exclusive Online Promotions for Exam Season

Alongside the giveaway, FairPrice Group has launched “The Exam Kit”, a series of exclusive online deals running every weekend from 16 August to 12 October.

Families can enjoy savings of up to 38% on rotating selections of health and wellness products, including:

  • Brand’s Essence of Chicken

  • Eu Yan Sang products

  • Fresh milk, fruits, and vegetables

Additional promotions on Brand’s and Eu Yan Sang products will also run from 1 September to 31 October.

FairPrice Group’s Commitment to Nutrition Access

The Cheers Breakfast Club was first introduced in 2024, where all 12,000 bundles were redeemed in under two days. This success highlights the strong demand for initiatives supporting students’ well-being.

  • Protein Pledge – $1 million commitment to provide fresh protein to needy families

  • A Full Plate – Singapore’s largest food donation drive

  • Start Strong, Stay Strong – preschool nutrition and sustainability education

As thousands of pupils prepare for the milestone PSLE, the Cheers Breakfast Club is more than just a free meal – it represents a community’s encouragement, ensuring that every child starts their exam day with a full stomach and a hopeful spirit.
