Pink Ribbon Walk

Pink Ribbon Walk

WHEN: Saturday 3rd October 2015

WHERE: Marina Bay Event Square

DISTANCE: 3.2km

WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN: This is a walk against breast cancer and by participating, you will show your support towards raising breast cancer awareness, show support for breast cancer survivors, and help raise funds to the Breast Cancer Foundation’s support group programme and awareness outreach.

You can sign up for this Fun Walk with your teenager in the 13 – 59 years old category, or even ask your parents with an active lifestyle to join the 60 years old and above category.

Ground Zero Run for Humanity

Ground Zero Run for Humanity

WHEN: Saturday 10th October 2015

WHERE: Big Splash at East Coast Parkway

DISTANCE: 5km (Relief Aid Challenge) and 10km (Race Against Time)

WHY YOU SHOULD JOIN: Organised by Singaporean humanitarian organisation, Mercy Relief, this event includes a Relief Aid Challenge which allows participants to experience what it’s like for the beneficiaries who have to walk long distances to collect relief packs.

The Relief Food Packs includes commonly used necessities in households here such as: Rice, Sugar, Salt, Cooking Oil, Milo, and Bee Hoon, which will be distributed to low income families in Singapore after the event.

Participants who make a small donation to show support for the Breast Cancer Foundation, Community Chest (in support of children with special needs) and the SingHealth Duke-NUS OBGYN Academic Clinical Programme, will also receive a special tutu for you to don on race day!

WHERE: The Float At Marina Bay

DISTANCE: 5km (Fun Run), 10km and 21km
