Instead of considering certain scientific methods like surgeries or medications, try eating specific foods that could boost fertility.  It's not an exact science but try these dishes to increase your chances for pregnancy.

Here are 10 dishes that could boost your chances of getting pregnant.

1. Protein

1. Protein

Protein derived from plants including beans, peanuts and peas are known to greatly enhance fertility than protein obtained from red meat. Beans are also high in iron.
2. Leafy greens

2. Leafy greens

Leafy greens such as spinach, arugula and romaine lettuce are abundant in folate. This B vitamin is scientifically known to improve ovulation and also reduces the chances of miscarriages and genetic problems. Let your partner consume leafy greens as well to ensure that his sperm is healthy and plenty.
3. Wild salmon

3. Wild salmon

Wild salmon is rich in healthy Omega-3 fatty acids that aid in increasing blood flow to your reproductive organs and also regulate reproductive hormones. Other food items high in Omega-3 are sardines, avocadoes and sesame seeds.
4. Complex carbohydrates

4. Complex carbohydrates

Complex carbohydrates like brown rice, whole grain breads and rolled oats help in maintaining the insulin and blood sugar levels of the body. Without high levels of insulin or blood sugar, fertility will increase by two-folds.
5. Pumpkin seeds

5. Pumpkin seeds

Pumpkin seeds and olive oil helps women conceive faster. This is because pumpkin seeds are high in non-heme iron, which also aids in increasing fertility while olive oil decreases inflammation in the body. Inflammation interferes with ovulation conception and early embryo development.
6. Whole milk

6. Whole milk

Whole milk and full-fat yogurt may be high in calories but these are considered as fertility food. The high calcium content derived from these dairy products is also very important.
7. Broccoli

7. Broccoli

Broccoli and pineapples are great for increasing fertility because it is high in manganese. Manganese helps sustain insulin levels.
8. Almond

8. Almond

High in vitamin C, almonds and sunflower seeds should be constantly consumed because these help strengthen the lining in your uterus.
9. Fruits and vegetables

Ingredients:

Spinach (1 large bunch)

2 tablespoons extra virgin olive oil

1 teaspoon prepared Dijon mustard

Celtic sea salt and white pepper to taste

Directions:

Under running water, rinse each spinach leaf thoroughly. Dry the leaves using a salad spinner or paper towels. Cut into bite size pieces and transfer to a salad bowl.

Add in the ground pumpkin seeds and toss. In another bowl, mix the garlic cloves with the lemon juice, mustard and olive oil. Add in the Celtic salt and white pepper if needed. Add the mixture to the spinach and toss well. Serve immediately.

12. Plant your own seed

12. Plant your own seed

Going on this diet does not guarantee a bun in the oven. Oh yes, you still have to get with your hubby before getting pregnant. These foods only increase the chances--you still have to manually plant the seed and we are not talking about sunflower seeds!
