Looking for an activity for the whole family to participate in? Ready to get those creative juices flowing? Well, the Land Transport Authority (LTA) is organising the “Youth for Transport” art competition to celebrate the inaugural Youth Olympic Games, which will be held in Singapore from 14 August to 26 August 2010. LTA is calling upon all Singaporeans to put on their creative hats and show the world what the Singapore’s transport system means to them.
The “Youth for Transport” art competition will run from 30 April to 30 June 2010. Participants can submit their entries based on the different categories – 12 years and below, 13-20 years and the Open category – so everyone can participate! The top prize winners in the Children and Youth Categories take home $1,000,while the top prize for the Open category will be $2,500. The winning art pieces will also be displayed at bus stops, street structures, as well as MRT stations exteriors and interiors from August to October 2010!
