Parenting Guide to NYE - Where to go for New Year's Eve

29 Dec, 2013

Struggling to decide where to go for New Year's Eve in Singapore when you've got kids? It can often be difficult to find something to do to celebrate the countdown but don't worry because this year we give you the best 5 ways to spend New Year's Eve 2014.
1. Family friendly party

1. Family friendly party

You could either host one yourself or hope that someone else does! This is a great way to enjoy New Year's Eve and you don't have to worry about finding a babysitter for the kids. It's a bonus if there are other kids, so your little ones have a great time too!
2. Bayfront fireworks

2. Bayfront fireworks

Why not take the whole family down to the Bayfront and enjoy tonnes of beautifully coloured fireworks at the strike of midnight. This is a great way for families to spend new year although you may want to call in a babysitter if you'd prefer the kids not to stay up too late. Failing that, remember to be prepared to carry your little ones if they get tired on this late night.
3. Staycation

3. Staycation

If you don't fancy travelling too far or staying at home for New Year's Eve then staycation's are perfect! You could even get other friends and their children to come along to join in with the countdown.
4. Go out with friends

4. Go out with friends

If you're lucky enough to have arranged a babysitter, then a great way to spend New Year's Eve is with friends. Relax and enjoy the countdown whilst knowing that the kids are safely tucked away in bed!
5. Stay at home

5. Stay at home

If you fancy a quiet New Year's Eve this year, there's no harm in spending it at home. This way you don't have to worry about the kids feeling sleeping or having to try and find a taxi home!
