To better arrange your trip to Universal Studios Singapore, we divided our list of rides according to the park’s zones. With this, you can fully enjoy what each area has to offer. On the other hand, this detailed list also provides parents with the information they need on the rides to avoid.
1. Transformers the Ride: The Ultimate 3D Battle
When it comes to Universal Studios Singapore rides, we always add the Transformers ride to our must-see list. To experience the thrilling ride, you need to walk to the park’s Sci-fi City zone. This attraction offers an indoor hyper-realistic 3D thrill experience.
Restrictions: To ride Transformers the Ride: The Ultimate 3D Battle, guests need a height of at least 102cm. Children with heights between 102cm to 122cm need to be accompanied by an adult.
Park officials discourage people with a fear of enclosed spaces from lining up for this ride. Additionally, the safety restraints used on this ride may not be suitable for some passengers, depending on their size or shape. Those with prosthetic limbs need to remove them before riding.
2. Battlestar Galactica: Human vs. Cylon
Aside from the Transformers ride, the Battlestar Galactica also hails as one of Universal Studios Singapore’s crown favourites. This outdoor attraction serves as a high-speed turbulent roller coaster. Adrenaline junkies look forward to lining up to this exhilarating ride in the Sci-Fi City zone.
If you want to know if you can fit the ride, you’ll spot a test seat you can try near the area. With this, interested individuals can make sure if they need to skip the ride.
Restrictions: For interested riders, you need a height of at least 125cm. Those who can’t meet this restriction will not be allowed to ride. Before getting on the ride, guests need to leave all loose articles.
No need to fret about the safety of your belongings because you can find secure lockers near the area. You may also leave unimportant loose articles in cubicles provided near the ride’s staff area.
3. Accelerator
For a unique seated ride, you need to check our Sci-Fi City zone’s Accelerator. The sheltered spinning ride speeds up as it goes for the rider’s enjoyment. It also simulates a feeling of being part of an intergalactic space with your fellow pod riders.
Restrictions: Young guests need a height of at least 122cm to ride the Accelerator. They also require an adult companion to ride with them. Meanwhile, staff strictly refuses to let parents with hand-held infants ride this attraction.
The Accelerator also offers a better experience at night with its effects and lighting. Unfortunately, this makes the ride unadvisable for those sensitive to flashing lights.
Moreover, we also discourage people who have trouble maintaining an upright seating position from riding this attraction. The centrifugal force generated by the rotating pods might prevent them from enjoying other rides.
