Sesame Street lands in Universal Studios Singapore

Can you tell me how to get to Sesame Street? Well now we can - the lovable characters from the longest-running children’s programme, Sesame Street, have landed in Universal Studios.

Sesame Street lands in Universal Studios Singapore

Resorts World Sentosa, Universal Parks & Resorts and Sesame Workshop, a non-profit educational organisation behind Sesame Street, announced today that Sesame Street characters will be joining the colourful lineup of popular characters that grace the “streets” of Universal Studios Singapore.

From next week onwards, park goers will be treated to brand new Sesame Street shows to coincide with the upcoming June holidays.

Adults and children will adore “When I Grow Up”, a 12-minute stage show that features all-time favourite characters like Big Bird, Elmo, Cookie Monster, Bert and Ernie, Grover and Abby Cadabby dancing on the steps on the New York Library.

Two street shows, “Our Favourite Things”, and “Dance with Bert and Ernie” will also launched, along with daily meet and greet sessions that allow park goers to take pictures on New York Street with their favourite Sesame Characters.

As if that’s not exciting enough, Sesame Street will also be launching a new Elmo-themed indoor ride in the second half of the year.

Want an up-close and personal experience with the characters of Sesame Street? The Sesame Street Character Breakfast will provide an unforgettable experience for the entire family.

Taking place on selected weekends and holidays from 9am to 10.30am, this exclusive breakfast gives guests the chance to cozy up with the enchanting characters while enjoying a premium breakfast buffet spread.

So, if your children (or you) are absolute Sesame Street fanatics, reserve your tickets for The Sesame Street Character Breakfast online or purchase tickets onsite.

In addition to this, your children will now be able to own exclusive Sesame Street merchandise from the three new themed retail outlets, including a Sesame Street School Bus that will drive into Universal Studios Singapore in July.

Be sure to clear your schedules and take the kids down to Universal Studios for an exciting day with Abby Caddaby, Bert, Big Bird, Cookie Monster, Elmo, Ernie, Grover and Oscar!
