Twins Plus Annual Garage Sale will be held on Nov. 13th (Saturday) from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Horse City,100 Turf Club Rd.
There will be great deals for pregnant mums, babies and children up to four years old.You will find toys, children’s clothes, maternity clothes, nursery decorations,strollers,outdoor toys, winter clothing, shoes, hats,ride-ons bathing and swimming outfits, bikes, trikes, slings, carriers ,car seats, books, CDs and equipment for feeding and breastfeeding.
There will be 140 square tables plus floor space used for strollers, cribs and ride-on toys at the garage sale.
Only members of Twins Plus are allowed to sell goods at the garage sale,but anyone with twins (or higher multiple birth children) is welcome to become a member. 89 % of the group members have children between the age of 0–6 years old.
Membership fee for the remainder of 2010 is $15.
Twins Plus Singapore started off sometime in 1996. From 1998-2001, it was coordinated by Barbara Potgieter who is a mother of three children. It is a non-profit, all-volunteer group formed to provide its members with support and guidance pertinent to bearing and raising multiple birth children in Singapore. The group comprises of a mix of expatriates and local Singaporeans . Twins Plus welcomes any parent with multiples who are interested in joining the group.
Initially , when the group was started , there were about 10 families who were part of it . Now, there are close to 170 families who are part of the group.
