Westgate

One of the new kids on the block, Westgate is becoming a crowd favourite for parents to bring their children at the one-of-a-kind outdoor fantasy-themed playground, Westgate Wonderland, located on the fourth floor.

There is a 10-metre tall tree house, a great playground for big kids and even little kids, plus a fantastic water-play area with a huge watering can which sprays out water!

This new mall has a kiddy shower area inside, nursing rooms for bubs to drink milk in privacy and you can also borrow free strollers for your little ones from the Concierge.

Parents will also be rewarded for shopping at the mall as when you spend a minimum of $60, it will admit one child to their exclusive Kids Club for two hours!

Address: 3 Gateway Drive

Opening hours: 10am – 10pm daily

United Square Mall

Known as “the kids learning mall”, United Square Mall is a hit with families.

Start with the vibrant and interactive website to plan your shopping trip, which even your little ones can help with. And when you’re there, the outdoor water features will keep the young ones fascinated – long enough for you to run into the new Starbucks for a quick coffee-to-go!

For the little bookworms out there, ‘Molly the Mobile Library’ makes her appearance on the 2nd Saturday of every month, at level 1 between 1pm – 5 pm.

A nursing room is available on level one and if you’re planning on a long walk-about around the mall with a little one, United Square offers a three-hour complimentary stroller.

Address: 101 Thomson Road

Opening hours: 10.30am – 9.30pm daily

Website: www.unitedsquare.com.sg

JEM

Another new mall in the west, JEM has a marine-themed playground right outside of the food court which also includes a few water features for the kids to splash around, and then wash themselves up at the showers provided nearby.

There is even a Sky Park with interesting features from the Science Park which will delight your kids as they explore the different sights and sounds.

If you need to do some grocery shopping, don’t worry about the little ones getting bored and having a meltdown in the middle of the supermarket, because NTUC Fairprice at the basement level has special kiddy car carts for junior to “drive around” in as mum and dad grab the weekly food supplies, or you can even let your kids help with the shopping by pushing along their own pint-sized trolley (both with a refundable deposit of $10).

Address: 50 Jurong Gateway Road

Website: https://www.jem.sg/

Vivocity

This colossal 5-storey shopping mall in itself is a playground for the whole family. Housing 340 stores, there’s a shop for every parent and child.

A restless little one? Good news parents! An array of play areas in the open-air playground on level two will put a smile on any sulking face. And it’s easily accessible from the shops, meaning you can get back to your shopping quicker.

If you need to breastfeed your little one, comfy, well-equipped nursing rooms (six of them!) are available just off the open-air play area on level two.

Even more fun for kids would be the mini express train ride at $6 a ride (for children below 90cm, an accompanying parent rides for free) and the Happy Boat rides on the rooftop for the little ones to paddle around for only $4!

Address: 1 Harbourfront Walk

Opening hours: 10am – 10pm daily

Website: www.vivocity.com.sg

Jurong Point

This mall in the west side of Singapore is great for the whole family because there is a huge Kiddy Palace there filled to the brim with toys and baby essentials, a big cinema upstairs to catch the latest movies, a large Popular bookstore in the basement and a wide choice of eateries to choose from for that perfect family meal.

There are child-friendly urinals and sinks in most of the restrooms there and even a little Boys Restroom and little Girls Restroom on level two!

There are also a few nursing rooms available with diaper changing stations and hot and cold water dispensers.

Address: 1 Jurong West Central 2

Opening hours: 10am – 10pm daily
