theAsianparent Baby Bash!

On the 2nd of July, theAsianparent hosted the ultimate baby playdate at the TAP Baby Bash!

The TAP Baby Bash saw 70 mums and their beautiful families gathered at the gorgeous Pavillion at Far East Square. These mums had one thing in common; each of them had given birth in January 2016, and their babies were turning 6 months old!

Our motto here at theAsianparent’s is to be a mum’s best friend, and the TAP Baby Bash was by all means a mum driven event, focused on family bonding and fun, alongside fellow mummies and babies at the same stage in life.

The mums participated in activities that were tailored specifically for their 6 month olds

Mums crowded around our sensory bottle workstation, where they had the opportunity to make their very own personalized sensory bottles. These sensory bottles encourage development in children, and is a non messy way for parents to enjoy time with their kids.

A baby weaning workshop was also held, demonstrating to mums how they can put together different foods after weaning from breastfeeding.

Maternal milk tasting at the Dumex Photobooth

Event sponsors Dumex were at the TAP Baby Bash to hold a maternal milk tasting session through the entire event. Dumex even held a ‘Post-to-win’ Contest at their booth to give our mums the opportunity to win fabulous prizes!

ParentTown, Singapore’s first ever free Q&A parenting app!

ParentTown, was present at the event, to educate mums on how they can get all their pressing parenting questions answered by fellow like minded mums in Singapore, and local Singaporean experts, through their free Q&A style app!

Our Drypers custom changing room for happy babies

Drypers took care of our mums very well, and sponsored the TAP Baby Bash changing room and booth, providing mums and babies with soft diapers and fresh wet wipes throughout the entire event!

Gorgeous desserts from our friends at WhiteSpatula

The event was even more beautiful as WhiteSpatula created a custom dessert table full of treats to go along with the event. They also came bearing a huge banner to add some ‘pop’ to the event.

Our fun playmat area allowed mums and dads to play with their babies in a safe environment

It’s not easy standing or sitting for long periods of times, and a baby playmat area was a must have for our ultimate baby playdate! We put together the playmat area for our mums and dads to bond with their little loved ones at any point during the event.

Taking home $200 worth of gifts from our sponsors and participating brands

Each and every mum got the chance to take home a goodie bag, packed to the brim with $200 worth of gifts from our sponsors and participating brands. Products in the goodie bag were specifically hand picked for our mums for them and their 6 month old babies.

Winning big at a playdate? These mums did!

To add on to each mum bringing home a goodie bag worth $200, each mum was presented the opportunity to enter our big TAP Baby Bash Lucky Draw! Our 10 winners won a variety of gifts, ranging from Gift packs from Dumex, Kalila Organics, Toddley Thoughts, The Little Ones, and many more!

The highlight at the end of the event was the humongous family photo of every single mum, dad, and baby at the event! If you look closely, everyone’s little loved ones were donning adorable #TAPbabybash baby rompers.
