If you haven’t already heard, theAsianparent recently had our first Baby Bash of 2017 on the 1st of April!
Our Baby Bash was held at Bove by Spring Maternity at Suntec City. Their event space is the perfect combination of cosy and functional – big enough to host our babywearing, grooving parents. Plus, once the event was done, parents had the chance to check out the exciting products by Bove!
The Dancing Oiler had our parents getting down to some funky music all morning.
We had a whole list of fun activities planned for our mums, dads, and of course their little ones! We started off the event with a babywearing dance workout by The Dancing Oiler.
After grooving to the funky beats, we opened the floor to our sponsors’ booths. There were many exciting and fun booths engaging our parents and their bubs!
We tried out Nestlé’s Gerber Graduate Puffs, and also learnt more about their Cerelac instant cereal and Nan infant formula. Nestlé also held a lucky draw, giving away not one, but two Nespresso machines!
The talented Chef Joseph showed us some of his favourite baby weaning recipes using Bosch’s BPA free equipment and kitchen tools – destined to be your best friend in the kitchen! The recipes included a broccoli and avocado pureé, and pumpkin soup! Sounds delicious right? We promise you, it was.
At the same time, there were busy hands at the BusyTables’ booth! Parents created sensory bags for their little ones – water, glitter, pom poms and an array of charms all thrown into a bag with water. In other words, magic to your kiddo!
Not to mention everything else that was going on – from a ‘Spot The Smurfs’ contest to a ‘Best Dressed’ title to a ‘Play-Doh Contest’, we certainly had a lot for our parents and kiddos to do.
Our Play-Doh contests encouraged little ones to get creative making their most loved foods.
On top of all of this, there were contests going on throughout the day leading up to our lucky draw as the finale – giving parents the chance to walk away with some pretty awesome goodies!
Lucky draw prizes so good we wished we could enter the draw too!
All in all, it was a pretty amazing Saturday, jam-packed with tonnes of fun things planned to ensure a great day of family bonding. If you missed out, fret not as the next one will be coming up in July – don’t worry, we promise to keep you guys posted!
