Singapore Parenting Congress 2011

How do you prepare your teenagers for the real world and keep them grounded? Can you bring across your well-meaning intentions to your teenagers without pushing the wrong buttons? Find out the answers to these and more at the Singapore Parenting Congress 2011.

Adolescents are not monsters. They are just people trying to learn how to make it among the adults in the world — Virginia Satir

Parents shudder at the thought of their sweet and innocent kids turning into teenagers.

All parents undoubtedly want the best for their children, teenagers or otherwise. Why then, are some parents able to bond better with their children while others struggle with rebellious ones? How do parents bring across their well-meaning intentions in ways the teenager will accept? Pick up useful tips on improving the relationship between parent and child at this year’s parenting congress.

This year’s Singapore Parenting Congress will focus on communication with teenagers, especially in areas such as sex education, cyber wellness and preparing the teenager for his adult life.

Date: 9 & 10 July

Venue: NTUC Auditorium, Level 7, NTUC Centre, One Marina Boulevard
