Take a trip this December to the moon with Sesame Street!

3 min read
Take a trip this December to the moon with Sesame Street!

If you plan on taking the kids to the movies, here’s how to make it an out-of-this-world experience that they’ll never forget.

December holidays are finally here and Omni-Theatre is all set to take you and your little ones for a “space-tastical” adventure.

Little kids are utterly fascinated by the sun, the moon and the stars much before they can begin to fathom the vastness of our universe. Why not try and encourage their interest in these heavenly bodies this holiday?

And who better to help you along than the friendly folks at Sesame Street?

See Elmo on a Giant Dome Screen!

Especially made for kids between 3-6 years old (there is nothing stopping the older kids and you from joining in too!), One World, One Sky: Big Bird’s Adventure promises to absolutely delight the young ones.

This 30-minute movie begins when Elmo’s friend, Hu Hu Zhu comes on a visit from China. Elmo, Hu Hu Zhu and Big Bird take off together for an imaginary trip to the moon. They take the (very young) audience along with them on an exciting out-of-this-world journey of discovery to learn about the Sun, stars, and Big Dipper.

Watch the trailer below to get a glimpse into this very exciting galactic journey.

Mum tell me about the earth, moon and the sun

How many different stories have you told your kids about the earth, the moon and the sun? Too many to count right? Well here is another one, but this one is just not-to-be-missed.

Omni_EarthMoon

In Earth, Moon and Sun, Coyote – an amusing character, drawn from native American traditional oral tales – explores the relationship between the three celestial bodies.

In this 40-minute feature meant for kids seven years and above, the otherwise razor-sharp Coyote is a little confused by what he sees in the sky. Join him, as he understand how the three — Earth, Moon and Sun, work together to create night and day, among other things.

This is a fast-paced and fun full dome show that explores lunar phases, eclipses and other celestial puzzles! The Coyote takes the kids on an engaging and immersive journey through the skies to show how humans learn through space exploration and helps young children distinguish myth from science.

So mums and dads, boys and girls, what are you waiting for? Gather the family for an out-of-this world experience at the Omni-Theatre today!
