Sesame Street launches autism campaign with 'Amazing Song'

Sesame Workshop, announced Wednesday that Julia is joining Elmo and the gang in books and a new app as part of the new "Sesame Street and Autism: See Amazing in All Children" campaign.

The character, who “does things a little differently,” according to the workshop, is part of the campaign focused on reducing the stigma of autism.

“For some of us, it’s hard to reach out as others do. But when you just look closer, you’ll see amazingness show through. We each have our own ways to see the world and show we care. But we know we can be friends, because there’s so much that we share.”
