Rihanna is expecting her second child, according to sources, following her performance at the Super Bowl 57 Halftime Show on Sunday (US time).
Rihanna wore a puffy, bright red jumpsuit with tight, rubbery undergarments that revealed a baby bump, fueling a surge of social media speculation until the big reveal. She stood on a transparent rectangular platform that lifted and lowered while she sang the lyrics of Bitch Better Have My Money above the turf where the Philadelphia Eagles and Kansas City Chiefs had just battled.

The announcement comes after Rihanna hinted a surprise halftime show guest during an interview with “CBS Mornings” co-host Nate Burleson prior to Sunday’s game.
In an interview before to her halftime performance, she expressed reservations about performing on stage, but motherhood inspired her to complete the 13-minute performance, which had no clothing changes or guests.
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky are the joyful parents of a 9-month-old child. In an interview conducted before her halftime performance, the Grammy winner stated that she had second thoughts about singing at the Super Bowl, but motherhood ultimately inspired her to do it.

She told The Hollywood Reporter, “I was like, ‘You sure?” she said to The Hollywood Reporter. “I’m three months postpartum. Should I be making major decisions like this right now? I might regret this,’” she added.
In addition, Rihanna revealed to Apple Music that she agreed to do the halftime show three months after giving birth to her first child. She attributed her willingness to say “yes” in doing the performance to being a mother.
“When you become a mom, there’s something that just happens where you feel like you could take on the world — you can do anything,” she shared.
“And the Super Bowl is one of the biggest stages in the world, so as scary as that was … there’s something exhilarating about the challenge of it all,” she continued. “It’s important for my son to see that.”
Rihanna stated that playing her singles back-to-back in 13 minutes was a difficult task.
It was also Rihanna’s first since she gave birth to her first child nine months ago and her first solo performance in seven years.
“The setlist was the biggest challenge. That was the hardest part — deciding how to maximize 13 minutes, but also celebrate. That’s what the show’s going to be — it’s going to be a celebration of my catalog in the best way,” she stated. “I think we did a pretty good job at narrowing it down,” Rihanna explained.
The 34-year-old artist has been busy with her cosmetics line Fenty Beauty and raising her nine-month-old son with musician A$AP Rocky, so her Super Bowl Halftime Show is a much-anticipated return.
A$AP Rocky captured footage of Rihanna during her solo Super Bowl 2023 halftime performance as she stood on a platform above the field.
Fans were in awe as Rihanna performed song after hit from an elevated stage.
Rocky, who celebrated the singer’s son’s birth with her last year, grinned as he videotaped the star on the platform while she sang “Diamonds” from the sidelines.
In homage to the Instagram image when Rihanna revealed her halftime performance last year, the “L$D” rapper wore a jacket with an American flag theme and Rihanna’s hand holding an NFL football.
Rocky referred to Rihanna as his “love of his life” and said that their relationship has made his life “so much better” in 2021.
“So much better when you got the One. She amounts to probably, like, a million of the other ones,” Rocky shared in an interview with GQ.

Aside from her astounding halftime performance, Rihanna is also nominated for an Oscar next month for Best Original Song for “Lift Me Up,” from the soundtrack to “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever.”
“We Found Love”, “Work”, “Umbrella”, and “Disturbia” are just a few of Rihanna’s 14 No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hits. Rihanna has won nine Grammy Awards. She is the mother of rapper A$AP Rocky’s nine-month-old baby.
Her previous live appearance was at the 2018 Grammys, where she sang “Wild Thoughts” with DJ Khaled.
There were varied reactions to Rihanna’s Superbowl performance, but her fellow women and mothers thought she did an amazing job.
“As the first pregnant artist to headline the Super Bowl halftime show, she gave an amazing performance that honoured both her fans and herself as an artist, business owner, and mother,” said Tanay Howard of Parents.com.
