Understanding the PSLE English Paper

Here’s an example. The PSLE English paper is divided into two main components: Paper 1 and Paper 2.

Paper 1: Situational Writing and Continuous Writing (50 marks)

  1. Situational Writing (15 marks) – This section assesses a student’s ability to write a formal letter, email, or report based on a given situation. To excel in situational writing, it’s crucial to understand the purpose of the writing task, the intended audience, and the tone. Tips for Success in the PSLE English Paper
