HP and Cartoon Network has just launched an uber awesome online animation contest for budding animators aged between 6-14.
The contest, called Toon Creator Awards, will be held between July 13 and September 30. In the nutshell, kids and their families need to visit www.ToonCreatorAwards.com and create their own 25-second ending after viewing a five-second mini-cliffhanger using either Ben 10: Alien Force or Chowder characters.
According to VP, Marketing, Personal Systems Group, HP Asia Pacific and Japan, Mr Ajay Mohan, “The power of a creative idea is undoubtedly demonstrated in the greatest innovations of our times. HP recognises the need to nurture this culture of creativity and innovation at a very young age.” He adds that the Toon Creator Awards promotes self-expression and evokes imagination of children and their families in a fun and exciting way.
The competition is open to applications for individuals and schools in Australia, India, Malaysia, Singapore, Taiwan and Thailand.
