What other parents say about One World International

Thaiclan: One World is a small school – there are only about 8 kids in my daughters class. It follows the IB PYP curriculum so is enquiry based learning which is great. The Principal is a great guy (he was from AIS for 7 years). I think it’s a great school to start as all the kids from all the year groups know each other and interact with each other.

The school bus is free, and the facilities are very good. The best part I like is that they do Extra Curricula activities every day of the week, but unlike other schools that tack the extra stuff onto the end of the school day at One World all ECA’s commence at 2pm – 3pm so they still get home at a decent time each evening.

Anon: From what I have read in the media recently, it appears that One World International is not connected to the Global International Indian School nor is it connected to any other School in Singapore. It is funded by an Indian businessman from Mumbai and indeed the Principal is the ex-Principal of the Australian International School – Primary Section, but it really is totally independant school and does not favour any particular nationality.

HR Guy: We did a quick drive by the other week (as it is close to us) but I wasn’t that impressed. The grounds/facilities actually look old/run down even though it is being put down as new campus. Again it was only a quick look from outside (gates were locked) so cannot comment about the “actual” school. Was a bit surprised though.

Mules – We are also very happy with one world. Principal is from AIS. Nice sized school, so a community feel about it.

Diksha – Hi, I dropped by One World and it looks quite good. The principal was quite friendly and nice as well.

Splat – Hi my daughter who just turned 8 goes to this school she loves it. We live close by and it’s really nice to be able to get to school in 5 minutes! They have plenty of interesting things to do, tennis lessons and Capoeira are my daughters favourites at the moment, there always seems to be something interesting going on.

LHanie – I have visited the school and was quite impressed with the facilities. The teachers are very nice and they really know each and every student which made me feel that my daughter will be in good hands.
