Soccer superstar Neymar has a lot to celebrate lately.
After a successful season with Paris Saint-Germain and Brazil national team, he has more exciting news to share — he’s expecting his second child with girlfriend Bruna Biancardi!
The couple announced the pregnancy on Instagram, complete with a touching caption and a photo of Neymar holding his hands over Biancardi’s belly in the shape of a heart.

Dreams of the Future
In their announcement, Neymar and Biancardi shared their joy about the new addition to their family. “We dream of your life, we plan your arrival and knowing that you are here to complete our love makes our days much happier,” they wrote in Portuguese. “You will arrive in a beautiful family, with a brother, grandparents, aunties and aunties who already love you so much! Come soon child, we are looking forward to you!”
The couple also quoted a Bible verse, showing their faith and excitement for the upcoming arrival. “Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart,” the verse from Jeremiah 1:5 reads.
Lessons Learned
This is not Neymar’s first experience with fatherhood. The soccer star has a 12-year-old son, Davi Lucca, with his ex-girlfriend Carolina Dantas.
When Neymar became a father at 19, he faced criticism for starting a family so young and during a pivotal time in his soccer career. However, he has always stood by his decision and prioritized his son above all else.
“I trust myself and that’s it. That’s how I carry on with my life,” Neymar said in the documentary “The Perfect Chaos.” “It’s what I was taught, what I teach my son.”

Neymar and Biancardi’s relationship has been a whirlwind romance. The couple started dating in 2021, but only made their relationship public in 2022.
After a brief split, they reconciled late last year and have been going strong ever since. Now, with a baby on the way, they have even more reason to celebrate their love.

Neymar’s season with Paris Saint-Germain came to an early end when he had ankle surgery last month.
While he is expected to make a full recovery, the injury will keep him off the field for the remainder of the season. However, it seems like Neymar has plenty of other things to focus on — his growing family and his blossoming romance with Biancardi.
