As the year draws to an end, Marina Bay and the Civic District are set to host an exciting line-up of events and activities for all ages and interests. Come midnight, the public will also be invited to count down to the New Year with a seven-minute long fireworks display.

Let’s Celebrate 2019 by Mediacorp

Esplanade Presents Come Together

Groove into the New Year at the Esplanade Outdoor Theatre which will feature six different performances with acts by Nick Zavior, Amni Musfirah, Bloco Singapura and NovoBloco.
Timothy Nga hosts this stellar line-up of musical talent that will serenade listeners into 2019.
At the Esplanade Concourse, musician Bennett Bay together with Jana Ann and Rachel will return to for a series of three shows on New Year’s Eve.
Car-Free New Year’s Eve @ Civic District:
Car-Free New Year’s Eve (NYE) will transform the Civic District area into a bustling activity hub with a myriad of programmes for the public to enjoy.
From 4pm on 31 December, St Andrew’s Road, part of Fullerton Road, the stretch of Connaught Drive between Esplanade Park and The Padang will be closed to traffic, enabling the public to enjoy the activities in car- free comfort.

Families for Life (FFL)’s NYE Celebrations includes bouncy castles within Esplanade Park. At Empress Lawn, receive free picnic mats after “Liking” FFL’s Facebook page.
Friends and families will get to take home their memories in the form of 3R photo prints at the instant photo booth after posting it on their social media accounts.
FFL Mobile Café will be parked along Connaught Drive and will hand out free snacks and drinks to members of the public.

Countdown Movie Screening with MovieMob
Venue: Empress Lawn

Get entertained by back-to-back outdoor screenings of Night at The Museum and Night at the Museum 2, as well as live band performances by local bands and singers such as Ryan with Joy Alexis on guitar, from 5.30pm-6.15pm, and local band 23 Skyline from 11.30pm to 11.59pm, and after the fireworks till 12.30am.

HPB Fitness Countdown Party 2019

Clarke Quay to celebrate New Year’s Eve Countdown with a Block Party
Bid goodbye to 2018 and ring in 2019 with a playful twist at Clarke Quay’s annual New Year’s Eve Countdown featuring a line-up of bands, DJs and MCs who will rave up the party atmosphere with music and entertainment at Clarke Quay’s Fountain Square.
This year’s NYE’s block party theme PLAY will see specially constructed three-dimensional, solid-shaped play block structures designed to bring a fun and imaginative playground element to the party.
There’s never been a better time to unleash your inner child then this New Year’s eve. Vibrant coloured interlocking play blocks symbolizing the four main enclaves of Clarke Quay will be fabricated to create the main stage and various play areas.
Expect to find a pedal-powered LED wall that will light up the harder you pedal; converting cycling power into beautiful illuminating patterns and lights.
Set your imagination free the minute you enter Clarke Quay where roaming, dancing, green “toy soldiers” and The Unicorn Parade (3m tall unicorn mascots) will interact with party-goers; providing many instagram-worthy photo moments to strike a pose and put on your best smile for the new year.
