Doctor Karuna Sabnani is a Naturopathic doctor based in New York City America. She is also the founder of Karuna Naturopathic Healthcare.

The healing power of nature is central to naturopathic philosophy, and the goal for the doctor is to stimulate the body’s power to heal itself. Instead of trying to attack specific symptoms of a disease like a regular doctor, naturopathic doctors focus on cleansing and strengthening the body to address and prevent both chronic and acute disease.

Dr Karuna also helps those with weight issues and problem skin and has a high success rate with many of her clients making significant improvements in their lifestyle and the way they feel.

Dr Karuna counts amongst her patients, actors, singers, writers, models and philosophers. She has also appeared in a video on Wall Street that will be placed in hospital waiting rooms all over the U.S.A.

If you wear makeup, choose natural brands that not only are toxin free but may have additional vitamins and minerals in them to protect your skin.

Choose a daily moisturiser for your skin that has vitamins and antioxidants in it such as Rosehip oil and Vitamin A, C, E  Apply this on your face especially throughout your air travel.

This will protect your from the radiation and toxins when you fly and also help to keep your skin hydrated.  This protection will help to prevent wrinkles and keep your skin taut.

No matter what skin type you have, make sure to keep the area under your eyes supple and moist at all times. There are many under eye creams on the market, but the most affordable and effective way to do this is to apply a little olive oil under your eyes and to the area on the outer side of your eyes.  

This area is very delicate and tends to show signs of aging quicker than than the rest.  DO NOT use harsh cleanser on your eyes in general or to remove eye makeup.

Drinking quality water helps to replenish the skin and move toxins out through all the eliminatory organs decreasing stress on the skin. Stay away from coffee, alcohol and soda.  These dehydrate the body and in excess leech the very minerals that are beneficial for your skin.

Exercise increases the oxygen to your blood and the purity of your blood directly reflects in the condition of your skin. Make it simple and start by taking a ½ hour walk during your lunch break.

Pay attention to your breathing and do whatever it takes to be calm in stressful situations. Find ways that work for you to 'change your state'. Stress related hormones aggravate many skin conditions.  Laughter is a great medicine and also increases all things good for the skin.
