My Pregnancy Journey

2 min read
My Pregnancy Journey

I was not aware that i was pregnant and even thought that the delay of my menses was due to the covid vaccination and stress from all the packing to move into our rental unit. Took the test 5 times to confirm and was still in denial as frankly we were planning to have a child after moving into our BTO due to our finance. However after confimation from the clinic we were stress yet happy to know that we are going to be parents.

Frankly my journey during first trimester was smooth no nausea nothing but it was abit more hectic when i reached the 2nd trimester, i had developed Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CPS) on my both hands and Pruritic Urticarial Papules and Plaques of Pregnancy ( Puppp ) all over my body especially my tummy and mozzie period made it worse as the itch was really uncontrollable and i had no choice to scratch. It was really sad to look at my skin during this period and i was worried with the CPS as it will affect me carrying my baby once she's born. The doctors had assure me that it will go away after birth so i was hoping that will be it.

3rd Trimester, Puppp has slower down i no longer feel the itch but the spots are still awfully there. CPS still the same and now im feeling like most expecting mother feel the swelling feet, nausea, tired from all the baby kicking, the contractions and tired of all the walking at even a short distance. They say everyone has different experience some are bad, great, happy or even sad but once you see your little angel u will feel that its all worth it. Im thankful to have asianparent as my daily guide thruout my pregnancy journey and ofcoz my family member and husband too.
