Must Watch: Here's How You Can Clean Your Baby's Teeth Effectively

Cleaning a baby's teeth early on can get them into the habit of maintaining good dental hygiene. Here's how you should clean your baby's teeth

Is it time to clean your baby's teeth already? Cleaning your baby's teeth can start as soon as the teeth come in. It could be a possibility that all of them come together, or they come one after the other. But as soon they start eating solid foods, or even just formula, you must start cleaning your baby's teeth. That's because the sugars in the solid foods or the formula may deposit onto their teeth and that would need thorough cleaning.

Now, there are many different ways to clean the baby's teeth. Here are a few of them:

  • You can get a small toothbrush, a very small one that fits into their mouth and use that to clean the teeth.
  • You can also put some toothpaste on your finger and clean his teeth with your finger. The important thing is to use a toothpastes that are made for babies and are free of Fluoride. This is because even if the baby does swallow a bit of Fluoride, it's not harmful.
  • It's also important to start this activity early on so that they do not start objecting to it later.

Take a look at video to better understand how to clean your baby's teeth:
