Now, wait a minute, what does a hamster have anything to do with school performance?

The day after the incident, the boy told his teacher who in turn told the authorities about this unusual and cruel type of punishment. Now, 38-year old Lynn Middlebrooks Geter is facing charges of animal cruelty, child cruelty and battery.
