Ample outdoor playtime
Kids have plenty of space to run around and play at New Tech Park where all MindChamps PreSchool @ Serangoon conducts their outdoor activities. This facility also includes two tennis courts.
All outdoor activities are specially organised with the prime objective of encouraging young ones to learn something irrespective of what they are doing.
At MindChamps PreSchool @ Serangoon kids have ample space to run about and have loads of fun.
For example, there is a portion of the curriculum called ‘Inquiry Moments’. During this time, teachers answer inquisitive little Champs’ questions about things in their environment and how they work.
At MindChamps PreSchool @ Serangoon, learning is not just confined to the 4 walls of the classroom. For example, during outdoor play-time, teachers take the opportunity to talk to the kids and answer their questions about things like the weather and cloud formations.
A solid parent-teacher communication system
Everyone from assistant teachers and senior teachers to directors and even the principal at MindChamps PreSchool @ Serangoon has vested interest in each and every child’s progress.
The classrooms are spacious and vibrant.
They all closely monitor each child’s development and share their thoughts and observations together with the class teacher, who in turn communicates these observations to parents through several modes of communication such as face-to-face discussions, connection books and emails.
In addition to all this, bi-annual Parents-Teachers conferences are also held to discuss young Champs’ development and review the child’s portfolio and progress reports.

Educational excursions with fun themes
Imaginative play is encouraged at MindChamps PreSchool @ Serangoon
MindChamps PreSchool @ Serangoon believes that experiences such as excursions and other fun activities add to a child’s holistic learning experience and should extend beyond the classroom.
Because of this, many fun and exciting themed excursions are planned during the term. While these experiences meet a set of learning outcomes, more importantly they provide an active and fun learning experience for the kids.
3-4 excursions are conducted annually to places such as the Science Centre, farms and parks. During these excursions, kids will learn about the human body, sources of food and farm animals in an interactive way.
But this is not all. MindChamps PreSchool @ Serangoon conducts many other activities such as taking the kids to watch plays in a theatre to provide an opportunity for young ones to experience the arts, which in turn will help kids realize their own talents and interests.
Kids get plenty of opportunities for exercise and play
