Marina Bay Sands Reschedules Dragon Drone Show – New Dates and Times Announced

Stay safe, stay excited, and get ready for an unforgettable dragon drone show!

Marina Bay Sands (MBS) has announced for all dragon drone show enthusiasts.

The dragon drone show that was originally scheduled for Saturday, February 17, has been moved forward to Thursday.

This comes with a change in the timing of the remaining shows — now set for 9 pm instead of the previously announced 8 pm.

Optimizing the Viewing Experience

Marina Bay Sands has actively decided to adjust the schedule. They aim to optimize the viewing experience and better regulate traffic flow, particularly on weekends.

These adjustments aim to ensure a smoother, more enjoyable experience for all participants. If adverse weather conditions occur, they plan to start the shows at 10 pm, provided the weather conditions have improved by then.

Previous Shows and Crowd Control

The new schedule follows last Saturday’s performance of The Legend of the Dragon Gate: Drone Show by the Bay, which drew massive crowds.

Unfortunately, congestion exacerbated by rainy weather sparked safety concerns among attendees. Several Facebook users expressed their dissatisfaction citing “massive throngs of people” and what was described as “no crowd control”.

Ensuring Safety and Enjoyment at the Dragon Drone Show

In response to these concerns, MBS introduced more crowd control measures for the remaining shows. They also advised attendees to consider alternative viewing locations for the show to ensure both safety and enjoyment.

What to Expect for the Upcoming Dragon Drone Show

MBS has rescheduled the dragon-themed drone show to take place on February 15 to “optimize the viewing experience” and manage traffic flow more effectively.

The three remaining shows are scheduled for Feb 15, 16, and 18, starting at 9 pm, one hour later than the previous schedule.

However, the starting time may be delayed to 10 pm, depending on the weather conditions.

Get Ready for the Dragon Drone Show

Remember to enjoy the spectacular drone show responsibly. This event is perfect for families, friends, and individuals alike, offering an evening of fun and excitement under the stars.

The sight of 1,500 drones forming a majestic dragon in the night sky is truly a sight to behold, and a memory to cherish. Whether you’re a resident or a visitor to this beautiful city, this unique spectacle promises to be a highlight of your experience here.

Remember, the show must go on, even if it starts a bit later at 10 pm due to weather conditions. In the face of change, let’s adjust our sails and embrace the magic that awaits us under the starlit sky.
