12 Dec, 2014

1. Cinnamon

1. Cinnamon

Cinnamon in your coffee, cinnamon in your chocolates, cinnamon in the air. There's something about cinnamon that adds a little bit of magic to everything. With its warm, spicy flavour - it's sure to put the Christmas spirit in you! Plus, with its numerous health benefits you don't want to miss out.
2. Cloves

2. Cloves

Normally the spice in your spiced oranges and commonly found in Indian cuisine - the scent of cloves has a surprising pick-me-up feel. That and the citrus cut of oranges makes an undeniably Christmas combination!
3. Oranges

3. Oranges

As we have just mentioned, the fresh, citrus beats of an orange paired with the sweet, spiciness of cloves is a definite Christmas scent! If you're feeling adventurous this year, try swapping your cranberry sauce for an orange one. We promise the family will be begging you for just one more serving.
4. Pine

4. Pine

What would Christmas be without the smell of pine in the air. The slightly musky scent of fresh cut pine is something that you can be sure to catch a whiff of at the end of every year! Even though real Christmas trees aren't all too popular in sunny Singapore, it's scent never fails to linger in the after notes of Christmas air.
5. Cranberries

5. Cranberries

This superfood proves to have a delicious array of forms and at Christmas time it is perfect as a sauce! Thick and sweet it is the perfect companion to a platter of thinly sliced turkey meat. You'll be sure to smell it a mile away. If you still can't enough of it grab a box of fresh ones to snack on the go!
6. Turkey

6. Turkey

The star of the show, ladies and gentlemen, roast turkey. Whether you've ordered it months in advance, are rushing to buy one on Christmas Eve or are simply making your way just in time for your restaurant reservations - there's no denying the succulent aroma that a roast turkey brings!
