Before we delve into our main topic, we encourage parents to use the tips we found to help them maintain their youthful appearance.

These simple additions to your life don’t include any skincare or makeup. Instead, these are things you can practise with your kids at home to promote a healthy lifestyle.

Ensure That You Are Getting Enough Sleep

The amount and quality of your sleep can significantly impact how your skin looks. Make sure that you get 8 hours to sleep at night.

If you can’t sleep that long, we advise you to take some time during your days off to sleep. However, you need to coordinate or plan this with your partner. With this, you won’t jeopardise your time with your family.

Use a Humidifier

Sleeping with a humidifier at night can benefit your skin. It helps add moisture back to the skin.

Additionally, keeping one at home helps your children or your babies sleep well at night. It helps regulate the quality of the air they need to get a good night’s rest.

Enrol on the Gym

Cardio can give you a naturally radiant look. Aside from that, it can give you a much more significant benefit if you do it consistently for longer.

Meanwhile, staying active with exercise or sports contributes to helping you look younger without makeup. By simply keeping your body in motion, you maintain your youth in strength and in beauty.

Eat More Veggies

Eating vegetables, especially the orange ones, could help you look younger. It contains essential nutrients which help in preventing wrinkles.

Among all the veggies, carrots are the best to help your skin look fresh! If you regularly add veggies to your diet, you won’t need makeup to maintain your youthful glow.

Avoid Doing Extreme Facial Expressions

Any extreme facial expressions can create wrinkles; it gets worse if you already have some on your face. It pulls your skin too much that it loses elasticity.

To look younger without makeup, you need to find things that make you happy. It may sound cliché but smiling or laughing does make a lot of things better.

Meditation: The Best Thing You Can Do to Look Fresh and Young

Among all the tips mentioned above, to look younger, the best way to look fresh and more youthful is to do meditation. There are several benefits that you may get from constantly doing meditation.

To be specific, you will have to meditate for you to develop more compassion, which benefits you and your well-being. Here is the meditation guide to practising compassion:

Think of Someone You Love

Once you begin meditating, it is good to take a deep breath. On your exhale, think of someone dear to your heart in the most vivid detail possible.

By doing that, you will be able to internalise compassion by turning it into the love capable of inspiring you.

Allow Compassion to Takeover Your Body

Get a hold of that important person in your mind. Allow yourself to feel the compassion for your loved one in your mind to feel the sensations which takeovers over your whole body.

Feel it the best way you can for you to find this feeling in yourself. To achieve this, you need to focus on this feeling while meditating.

Let It Fill Your Room

Do not hinder the compassion you feel from overflowing until it expands in the whole area.

Just like the first thing you did, take another deep breath. As you begin exhaling, ensure you can visualise the bubble of compassion that keeps expanding.

Imagine the bubble growing and taking over the entire room, including all the people and stuff inside it.

Expand the Reach of Your Compassion

Now that you succeeded in covering the whole room with that bubble of compassion, it would be better for you to expand it. Go further until it reaches the street and your neighbourhood.

Imagine how that simple bubble of compassion spreads and touches those with you and those around you.

Let Compassion Permeate the City and Nation

Once you can expand compassion to the street and your neighbourhood, now is the time to begin growing it in your city. You will then make it until you see the entire country.

In this phase of meditation, you must see the map of your city until it becomes smaller as you visualise the who country.

The Sky’s the Limit!

Allow your compassion to envelop not just the whole nation but the whole world.

Take a deep breath, and think of how you expand your bubble of compassion until it reaches everything on earth on your exhale.
