A father-of-2 is in urgent need of a liver donor in Singapore, after suffering from acute liver failure.
His wife, Amy, has put up a page on Facebook, appealing for help for her husband, Beng Seng.
Apparently, Beng Seng was hospitalised on 23 May 2018, after his liver collapsed.
Amy writes, “Beng Seng is suffering from acute liver failure and is in urgent need for a liver donor. The donor has to be 21-60 years old, medically fit and with the blood type B+ or O+.”

The couple have two sons. This is the second tragedy to hit the family in the last 3 years. His friend revealed in another post that Beng Seng was diagnosed with leukaemia 3 years ago.
“Beng Seng gamely fought the battle and is under remission. Despite the financial challenges incurred during the bone marrow transplant, the episode brought the close knit family even closer.”
“However, the family received a rude shock when Beng Seng was hospitalised on 23 May and found that his liver had failed and he needs a replacement immediately.”
Wife Amy reveals that so far the family has been unsuccessful in finding a suitable donor.
She writes, “Both Beng Seng and I are terribly desperate at this junction of our life. Time is not on our side. His condition is very critical and liver transplant is the only solution.”
“May I plead for more kind souls to please come forward to help my husband. You are not just saving a life, you are saving a family. We will be eternally grateful to you.”
She has also specified the donor requirements:
“Liver donor requirements –
