Lim Chu Kang Farm Area: 5 Kid-friendly Green Places You Must Visit

Take your children out to experience the rustic flavour of Singapore at the Lim Chu Kang farm areas. Its a must-see if you love nature and vast green expanses.

If you are living in urban Singapore, there’s one thing that your kids are surely missing out – trips to the countryside and interaction with farm animals. So how about you change that this year? Take your children to experience the rustic flavour of Singapore, and head out to Lim Chu Kang farm areas.

This place will give them a glimpse of farm life where they can learn where their food comes from, as well as how animals live and are bred.

Not just this, they can also feed the animals and spend the entire day exploring the beautiful outdoors. In the island city, most of the animal farms are clustered in the northwest part of Singapore in the Lim Chu Kang countryside.

Lim Chu Kang Farm Area: Here’s What You Need to Know

Lim Chu Kang farm area has over 100 farms, from those producing dairy to those housing farm animals. But there aren’t any traditional ‘petting farms’ here.

So if you want to venture out with the kids to just relax, get some fresh air, and take a break from your laptops and daily stress, drive down to this area.

We hope that we’ve given you some exciting ideas to keep your kids engaged and entertained in a more sustainable way this holiday season. Remember, if you are going for a long drive and physically visiting the farms, make sure to wear your masks and remind your kids to do the same as well. Carry a hand sanitiser and avoid crowded spaces.

Note: Feeding animals may be temporarily closed due to the pandemic. So before you plan a trip make sure to call the farms and check.
