Cartoon Network invites you to enter a world of animation at the Animate Your Life festival – a 16-day celebration of fans, fun and fans of fun!
From Saturday 26 May to Sunday 10 June, Cartoon Network Animate Your Life will transform Gardens by the Bay’s Bayfront Plaza into a thriving world of cartoons.
Bringing characters from hit shows – The Powerpuff Girls, We Bare Bears, Adventure Time and Ben 10 to life – the festival will offer a fairground of fun inflatable obstacle courses, carnival games and creative workshops.

PowerPuff Girls
Enter the famous city of Townsville, and soar with Bubbles, Blossom and Buttercup on a giant trampoline ride! Also make sure to check out the Cartoon Network art gallery, where a series of international artwork will be displayed in celebration of The Powerpuff Girls 20th anniversary.

If that isn’t enough to get you jumping out of bed, Animate Your Life will also offer a mix of fun activities including:

Watch a child’s face light up in wonder as his/her personal creation comes to life. ‘Colour to Life’ is packed with a set of colouring book, consisting of five different characters over 15 pages, and Faber-Castell Connector Pens.
After colouring the characters, the pages are scanned via a QR code into the free downloaded app. Five
different games can also be played based on these characters.
Competitions with Prizes to be Won

Opened in November last year, Marina Bay Putting Course features 211 m of natural grass putting surface, varying lengths and undulations which make it fun and challenging for the whole family to enjoy. Children’s Festival: Small Big Dreamers 2018 introduces visitors of all ages to Lee Wen, one of Singapore’s pioneer performance artists and a Cultural Medallion award recipient, through a special commission inspired by his life and practice – A Waking Dream: Sun-boy and Yellow Man.
Put on your creative cap as you start your journey in his dream-like world, where you can compose your own tunes, let your hair down, and put your agility and flexibility to a challenge as you manoeuvre around the obstacle course of ribbons or crawl under gazebos.

Children’s Festival @ Gardens by the Bay
This June school holidays, Moon Face, Saucepan Man and Silky will leap off of the pages of Enid Blyton’s The Magic Faraway Tree, and entertain children at Gardens by the Bay’s Supertree Grove.
It is all part of the annual Children’s Festival @ Gardens by the Bay, which will run from May 26 to June 10. This year’s edition of the festival centres on The Magic Faraway Tree and will recreate four lands from the series – Land of Toys, Land of Enchantments, Land of Tea Parties and Land of Nursery Rhymes.
Organised with the permission of the literary estate of Enid Blyton, this is the first large-scale Enid Blyton-themed event in Asia.

Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre’s Cultural Extravaganza 2018
SCCC Cultural Extravaganza 2018 will be happening over three weeks from the 18th of May till the 10th of June, showcasing the best of local Chinese culture with an exciting line-up of programmes featuring traditional and innovative presentations of homegrown Chinese art forms.
Martial FIT Wushu (9 June, 10:30am-12pm)
Brought to you by Singapore Martial Metropolis, Martial FIT Wushu, is a fusion of Kids Fitness and Wushu, introduced by a team of passionate coaches to help kids develop motor skills and values essential for daily life such as respect and self- discipline.

“Discovery@SCCC” – An escape activity (2-3 June, 11am–12.30pm, 1pm–2.30pm, 3pm-4.30pm)
Embark on an adventure as a family at the Singapore Chinese Cultural Centre and learn more about your roots through this exciting escape-room activity which will present you with a series of challenges to overcome. Remember, you have only 90 minutes to escape!

Chinese Zodiac Comic Drawing Workshop for Children
Participants will learn about the origins and background of Chinese zodiac, and get to design their very own zodiac animals. Each participant will get to select some of their favourite characters and render it with ink and two-tonecoloring techniques.

“Kin-esthetic” Parent-Child Drama Workshop (19 May, 10.30am–12pm)
Conducted by PLAYinc, the Kin-esthetic: A Parent-Child InterACTiveLearning Experience workshop creates a comfortable space for parents and kids to bond through the mediums of play and drama.
Parents and children will get to learn about values and from each other, while enjoying a good time together through the carefully-planned course brought to you by senior theatre educators.

Let Chinese Language and Culture ROCK (20 May, 4pm–6pm)
HAN Culture and Education Group will bring to you a series of wonderful activities suitable for both children and adults from hilarious video clips, cross-talk performances to skits.
Participants will also stand a chance to interact with the performers on stage. Other fun-filled activities include a cultural challenge, language games and guessing games.
Not only will participants get to learn Chinese words, one can also stand to win attractive prizes.
