Children are curious by nature and Jacelyn Tay’s son is no exception. In an Instagram post, the actress shared how her 9-year-old son Zavier challenges his curiosity through little experiments that involve tinkering with little trinkets at home.
Documenting just how bright and maybe a tad too experimental her son is, the celebrity mum captioned the post: “Son, you really wanna be Einstein ah?”
Jacelyn Tay’s Son Is A Little Scientist At Home
In an Instagram post, Jacelyn shared with her fans her shock find his alarm clock in the freezer. Her son explained it was to see what would happen to its digital screen when frozen.

Not long after that, Jacelyn said he also cut up the wires of his blue digital alarm clock to “see which wire gives the digital signal and sound.”

Zavier’s curiosity doesn’t end there. According to Jacelyn, he was also trying to see how toy cars and other electronics work to the point that she wrote, “Your room is like a car workshop”.

She shared more photos of her son’s little experiments with a few of the covers of his toy cars unscrewed to expose their wiring and another time where he took her hairdryer to warm up the glue of his dummy phone in order to see inside of it.

“It’s ok…Mama feels ok… Just don’t touch MY electrical appliances,” Jacelyn wrote.
She went on to add, “This alarm clock costs $12. Since you never like toys that usually cost much more, it is more cost-effective to buy you real stuff for your R & D.”
While pleased with her curious son’s scientific adventures, comments under her post advise the actress to make sure her son doesn’t go tinkering with stuff like her rice cooker, luxury watches or robot cleaner.
Keeping things positive, Jacelyn also wrote, “I know you have my scientific and curious genes (must praise myself to feel better and remind myself that he has my genes so cannot blame him. I give birth to him after all), but just don’t set our house on fire please!”
