Since Prince Harry and Meghan Markle moved to the United States and announced that they were no longer senior working royals, the couple have maintained a dignified silence about the reason behind their sudden departure. But all that is about to change, thanks to close pal, Oprah Winfrey.
The world’s most famous royal couple are about to appear on a scheduled interview with the American talk show host on March 7, and the trailer has already blown everybody’s socks away.
However, before that happens, Prince Harry made sure to give the world a sneak-peek into their personal lives, their parenting style, his thoughts on the Netflix show The Crown, and Archie’s night-time routine in a recent interview with James Corden on The Late Late Show.
To say that the conversation was a delight to watch, would be an understatement, as viewers got to see a never-before-seen avatar of the two young royals.

1. Meghan addresses the prince by his nickname “Haz.”
While on a FaceTime call with the Duchess, Prince Harry’s nickname was let slip. In the interview with the talk show host and pal James Corden, Meghan is seen asking Prince Harry, “How’s the tour going, Haz?”
When Corden tries the nickname out, Harry only playfully fires back with, “You’re not my wife.”
2. Prince Harry knew the Duchess was “The One” by the end of their second date.
Trying to find ‘The One’ may seem like forever for some of us but for the prince, it only took two dates.
“The second date I was starting to think: Wow! this was pretty special. It wasn’t so much where we went, it was just, the fact, the way we hit it off with each other and we were just so comfortable in each others’ company,” said Prince Harry about his wife.
He added, “We went from zero to sixty in the first two months.”
3. The Duke and Duchess have a simple nighttime routine.
For Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, a regular night at home means getting their son Archie ready for bed, which involves preparing his milk, giving him a bath, reading him a bedtime story and then “put him down.”
The couple will then go downstairs where Harry says they might “cook a meal, might order a takeaway, go upstairs, sit in bed, turn the TV on, watch some Jeopardy, maybe watch a little bit of Netflix.”
4. Prince Harry says the depiction of The Crown is more “comfortable” to see.
The popular Netflix series The Crown has garnered worldwide attention for its attention to detail. But what does Prince Harry think about the historical drama set on his family?
Harry reveals that he actually doesn’t mind it as it is fictional and “doesn’t pretend to be news.”
He also adds, “Of course it’s not strictly accurate, but loosely it gives you an idea about that lifestyle, what the pressures of putting duty and service above family and everything else, what can come from that. I’m way more comfortable with The Crown than I am seeing the stories written about my family, or my wife, or myself.”

7. The royal family actually does use Zoom.
When asked whether he Zooms with his family, Harry confirmed that they do and that the Queen does know how to use Zoom.

When asked why Prince Harry and Meghan Markle decided to quit life as working royals, he clarified that they didn’t walk away. It “was stepping back rather than stepping down,” he shared.
