Intimacy tips for busy dads

8 Mar, 2013
•••

Who has time for intimacy and romancing the wife with work and familial duties? We provide some tips for busy dads to surprise the wife with some intimate moves or two.

Cuddle me

Cuddle me

Don’t underestimate the power of a cuddle. So use that time in bed to cuddle up to your wife. The gesture will take her by surprise and your warm comforting arms around her will make her feel safe. The intimate and pleasurable touch that comes with cuddling is also known to reduce stress levels which means that both of you would sleep soundly through the night in each other’s arms.
The little things count

The little things count

Let your wife know you’re thinking about her throughout the day by sending her short text messages or even emails such as "Thinking of you…" or "Can’t wait to see you when I get home." These messages take less than 30 seconds to send and will make your wife feel closer to you and remind her just how much you love her!
Get her a gift…just because

Get her a gift…just because

Most women won’t admit it, but we do love the unexpected gifts - the ones that you give us for no reason at all. It doesn’t have to be expensive or elaborate, in fact if it’s home-made and personalised even better! So on your way back from work, grab a handful of wildflowers from the garden or paste a post-it note on her phone before she wakes up with the words "I love you" and you bet she will be grinning from ear to ear the whole day through, filled with love for you!
Do the dishes and...laundry

Do the dishes and...laundry

Most wives will agree with me when I say that sometimes all we want from the hubby is for him to do the housework for a day without us asking him. This little gesture speaks volumes and signals to your wife how much you appreciate her doing the housework. It also shows how you want to help out and trust us, there is nothing sexier than a man who cooks and cleans after himself! What this does is that it gives your wife every reason to reward you with some couple time in the bedroom, plus she’s saved her energy just for that!
The power of words

The power of words

They say that the way to a woman’s heart is through her ears so compliment your wife. Tell her she looks beautiful in that dress or that her skin is glowing in the morning. Other than that, take the time to notice whether she cut her hair or if she put on a new perfume or she cooked something extra special for dinner. It can be absolutely anything from home, to her parenting and even her work. These simple sentences show your wife that you notice the little things that she does and makes her feel extra special!
