Noticing another bomber in the vicinity, the heroic dad sacrificed himself and tackled the second bomber without hesitation, causing the bomb to go off early, preventing a potentially massive explosion in the mosque in Burj Al Barajneh.
Public Radio International reports that ISIS has since claimed responsibility for the twin bombings in Beirut. A total of 45 lives were lost, including Termos’. 200 more people were injured.
He leaves behind a young daughter and a son.
