Taking time out to keep yourself healthy has always been difficult. Well, most times we are just plain lazy. But mummies, isn't it straight up impossible to maintain a healthy lifestyle when there's the kids and household chores to take care of?

It's okay, here are 8 fitness classes that will get yourself back into the shape you were before you got kids, or maybe even better!

WeBarre

WeBarre

WeBarre is Singapore's first boutique barre studio. Now, you might be asking, what exactly is barre? Barre workouts consist of ballet techniques, pilates, yoga and strength training and it has been a craze for many years now!

They have recently launched a pre-natal barre programme that is safe, effective and overall a great workout for expecting mums from the first trimester all the way until they give birth. Body Temple is Singapore's only training studio that exclusively caters to females. They have an all-female team that include specialists in rehabilitation, pre/post natal, weight loss, endurance event preparation and life coaching. They also work frequently with physiotherapists, osteopaths and nutritionists to achieve the best results for clients.

Mum In Balance conducts classes in Singapore Botanic Gardens and East Coast park that aims to help women feel comfortable in their own bodies while embracing the great outdoors. Their classes are suitable for mums that are 6 weeks postpartum and 8 weeks after a Caesarean section.

Mother & Child Yoga

Mother & Child offers Prenatal Yoga classes to all Mothers-to-be after the 12th week of pregnancy and Postnatal Yoga with Pilates six weeks after a natural delivery, or 12 weeks after a caesarean section. Their classes are focused in strengthening of body; sequencing of postures to improve circulation, and breathing techniques to encourage the body to relax and the mind to become quiet and focused.
