Dempsey Hill: Try Delicious Food, Shop Till You Drop, And Explore Family And Pet-Friendly Activities

4 min read

Packed with lush greens on both sides, the Dempsey Hill makes for the pretty getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city just when things get too hectic. You can easily spend a whole day here with plenty of restaurants and cafes, quaint furniture stores, art galleries and more.

The old structures of the building from the colonial era further add to the vibe of the place and are quite loved by the ex-pats.

Dempsey Hill has transformed into a lifestyle hub and the laid back feel brings in a sense of novelty to the visitors. And mind you, you won’t be able to cover this properly in a day. So, plan a few more trips to discover something new every time.

To begin with, here are five things you can try out at Dempsey Hill.

You should also add Baker & Cook to the list of must-visit eateries in Dempsey Hill. The open and well-lit place offers an airy vibe, while there’s also a play area for kids that makes it perfect for a family lunch.

And if you are looking at some wholesome comfort food, do try PS Cafe on Dempsey Road that has an assortment of pizzas, burgers and more. This place is ever-crowded do make a reservation beforehand.

There’s also Core Collective – a collaborative centre that swaps your work desk for yoga, a functional training floor and a boxing ring. Just the right kind of environment for working out.

However, if unwinding is what you have in mind, do visit The Wagington with your furry friend. The place offers orthopaedic beds, luxe suites, and even an HD webcam for owners to keep an eye on their dogs.

The luxury dog care centre also offers active exercise and opportunities for them to socialise too. And there is a swimming pool as well as a salon and spa to make quite an experience.
